Ru Morgot's Gossip Corner
[The screen whites out and a pair of black painted lips kiss the screen. As the screen fades to that oh so familiar studio one might think "oh yeah early episode, its rumour time!" But Ru is not sitting in her usual position. Rather she steps in and sits down for once. Still not showing whats above her nose however. She begins to speak]
Ru: "Birdies birdies birdies...you are all being a little hasty. I understand that changes like these are scary, I do. But trust Momma Ru that these changes are for the better. You all posted rumours like your life depended on it. But trust me, this is Life as it should be. Equal in the eye of the Law...maybe soon I don't need to hide my face anymore...but the mystery makes it so exiting...oh I'm getting ahead of myself. Lets get in todays juicy, wiggly rumours shall we?"
[the studio turns to a forest green and ocean blue, the sounds of rustling leaves and birds chirping start to play and the AEGIS logo pops up in the corner of the screen]
Ru: "You all read it, heard it even. Aegis Macrogenetics is working to restore Earth. And how the robots and AI in their areas are evacuating their Areas. There was a rumour about it, that it was Aegis their work...a new rumour about that popped up. A sad one at that. Some Birdies tell Momma Ru that the bots came back. Some for what seemed to be just observation...but then a large group that seemed rather organized attacked one of their camp. Full black bots with a logo on their arms, sadly all birdies seem to not have gotten a good look at these logos. But hey. That's what makes it a rumour is it not?"
[The lights turn to a red haze. Even Ru herself seems to frown as the background sounds stop fully and the ARES logo appears in the corner of the screen]
Ru: "Now the new rules of equality as some birdies seem to call them...they are being dropped into Momma Birds inbox so much that sadly...she needs to include this. So many Birdies are tweeting to Momma that loopholes will be found. Such as a secret job title within Companies that deal with untimely deaths of their Replicant/ Designer/ Synth Employees...that people are offering their service as hired killers to keep the increased lifespan short. Why one would do that is beyond me. But so many people seem to submit it, it had to be included"
[The lights in the studio turn all back to normal and the logo of black painted lips not unlike Ru her own pop up in the corner]
Ru: "Another short one. And I do apologize. We are currently in the process of moving to a more hack secure area and broadcast area. We have been hacked numerous times now and we need to secure ourselves. As for the rumours~ believe them at your own risk~ they are just rumours after all~ or are they?"
[the screen fades to white and the lips kiss the screen goodbye. Then the scheduled commercials start to play once more]
