Ru Morgot's Gossip Corner
[the camera pans to 2 children sitting at a table. both of them look glum and hungry. a disembodied voice speaks up and the kids look surprised ]
Mascot: "ARE YOU KIDS HUNGRY?" Kids in unison: "YEAH!"
Mascot: "do you two want a delicious breakfast meal?" Kids in unison: "YEAH!!!"
Mascot: "well then, hold on for some XTREME HUNGER TUBE, new from Scavlunch™️ the breakfast in a tuuuuube" one kid: "AWESOME!
Mascot: "with much needed vitamins and other goodies that you need at the start of your day!" other kid: "TOTALY TUBULAIR"
[the mascot gives the kids a tube filled with what looks like a bread substance before flying out of view. the kids look extremely happy]
Mascot: "Xtreme Hungertube. now available in a vending machine near you!"
[the screen then fades to white. the sound of a kiss echoes trough the speakers and the black painted lips appear on the screen before it turns to the familiar studio of Ru. her sitting behind the desk as usual with the top half of her face cut off by the edge of the screen]
Ru: "My my my, little birdies! Momma Bird took to the streets. and My oh my did she get some juicy rumours directly from your local bars and dives~ here are some of my honest favourites"
[the lights shift to a soft blue hue as the logo of free company pops up on the screen]
Ru: "a little birdie told me directly that they heard word of free company recruiting in rather large numbers. recruiting is not really strange but the sheer amount of them seems odd. could they really need so many people to scavenge Earth for some artefacts? or are they planning something more nefarious reasons. a coup on a corp maybe? but that is for you to decide if its real or not!"
[the studio lights shift to a more nebula purple and pinkish hue, no logo pops up on screen]
Ru: another one Momma Ru heard live! you all heard of Didi's no? Daydreams. of course you have who hasn't word is that they are developing a new tech, getting feel and emotions even closer to the real deal. better safety measures for dampening said feelings. you all know simulations and that stuff. word is that the super secret they are working on is what if™️ scenarios. where you might take control of the Didi, and change the outcome. a live simulation will then start to try and fill in the blanks when things go off script. ill be honest that all sounds like something rather un believable. but if its true. what will that mean for the future of Daydreams!"
[the lights then turn a sickly green, no logo pops up]
Ru: "are your ramen truly safe? Momma heard from several birdies that the instant ramen sold by several companies have dried Martian cave fungus inside of them. the ones that grow in the cave systems that have been heavily mutated by Chimera's. if that is truly the case, you will not catch me eating any instant noodles! maybe Visit a place like Nomnom...or Nirvana on Cocoon station for some great fresh stuff...or if you have the Creddies. visit one of the sky cities the food originates from~"
[the lights turn back to the soft tones the episode started with]
Ru: "I'm sorry Birdies. that is all time I had for today. don't forget. the rumours are all that. just rumours. but if they are true or false? that is up to you do decide. dont forget to send in your juicy rumours! and who knows, maybe it will be featured on the next episode. ta ta lovelies. and keep chirping!"
[the screen whites out. the pair of black painted lips kiss the screen but for the first time. another symbol appears next to it, the OTB logo, a crystal like shape with the text underneath it saying: 'this episode is sponsored by the obsidian trading block' before the next scheduled commercial starts to play]
