Ru Morgot's Gossip Corner
[the Screen turns white. a pair of black lips kiss the screen and it fades to the studio of Ru. its Rumour time. a woman sits behind her desk. the top half of her face cut off from the screen]
Ru: "Welcome welcome once more to my humble little rumour corner. I hope that I will be spared once more~"
[the studio turns a bright red and and soft gold. the sounds of Martian winds on the background]
Ru: "now now. Rumours about the Kakusareta Akuma are always a danger, and this one might be a tipping point. Rumours have it that the recent attack on Luna was coordinated by the Kakusareta Akuma themselves. Momma's Little birdies say that they saw people with the Akuma logo on them run from the scene after they were able to kill their intended target"
[The lights turn more orange and gold]
Ru: "the Rumour might hold more merit than most think. as Hades its security seems to have increased quite a bit since last week. More people are complaining about being searched when disembarking from the shuttle. and we all know that the Akuma hold quite some power within Hades. are the so called Hidden Demons scared of something? making a pre-emptive strike at someone they suspect is against them? merit or not its still a rumour. believe at your own risk~"
[the lights shimmer to a green. the sound of bits is played in the studio]
Ru: "listen here my little Birdies. People have been vanishing. Spouses of those killed by who has recently been dubbed the red head killer. One twisted birdie of mine says there is a new gameshow on the Shadow.Net. hard to find and harder to get in. Mostly the rich folk for their twisted pleasures. Birdie says that the missing spouses have been popping up there. And their deaths are decided to the person that paid the most. Not to mention that a DayDream will be made of it and sold to the one that decided the fate of the one killed. this one sends shivers down my spine. could it be true?"
[the lights turn a soft pink, the sound of paper being rustled in the background.]
Ru: "a bit more scandalous at the moment however is that one of my little Birdies said to have seen Rising Pop star Olivia Nepi on a date with someone other than her husband. now only one Birdy has spoken about it. but imagine~"
Ru: "Sarah Donal has been seen....Guys. do we mostly have Celebrities for the rest? where is the juicy stuff? I am not a Celebrity reporter. and half this episode is about Celebs...once per episode is okay but not half!"
[the lights turn off for a second before they turn on once more. a deep red]
Ru: "this is not scheduled...what is?..."
[an augmented voice speaks over the speakers of the studio. rapid tapping can be heard in the background]
???: "I said it once and I will say it again. one day the castles in the sky will fall. one day. and now I am complete. I don't need anyone anymore"
[the lights turn off once more. one of the Camera people speak]
Man: "fixed it. someone tried to get in the systems or something..."
Ru: "shit. was that this Mandala person? or was it the Hidden demons that tried to silence us?...Birdies. our apologies. we have to cut the show short. we hope to see you next time~"
[the screen fades to white, a pair of black lips kiss the screen once more and the commercials start up once more]
