In what appears to be a first in the history of the Sol System, Orbital News Network has just learned that Michael Nikolaidis, Elder Councilor to New Geneva has stepped down from his position, effect immediately.
For those unaware of what this entails, Elder Councilor to New Geneva is about one of the most powerful and influential ranks within the highest corporate echelons in the Sol System, and it’s a position for life, for Michael Nikolaidis to step down is the very first occurrence of this kind since New Geneva was created. As of this moment, no official statement from New Geneva has come forth.
And to continue with shocking revelations, ONN has also learned that Adam Caine has returned.
In case you have done a double take, your optics are not deceiving you, Adam Caine, legendary mercenary, founder, and CEO of Omega Systems (Which would later on be renamed Advanced Research and Experimental Systems, or ARES) has returned and is currently en route to Megas Areios, the gigantic space station and headquarters to ARES, where it’s said that Mr. Caine will give a statement to the Sol System.
It’s unclear how Adam Caine has returned, but rumors are flying through the Net, most seem to point out that Adam Caine faked his death and hid in plain sight under the name Radu Basarab, as to why he did that is yet unclear.
