Trauma Team, the premier field medical attention team operating under Genetectic and out of Cocoon Station has now expanded further than anyone would have thought possible.

You may be familiar with the Trauma Team, field doctors and health operatives armed to the teeth and offering their services to preserve and save lives no matter the circumstances. They guarantee a response time of minutes at the most after an incident, and they will provide field attention, as well as top tier transportation to a facility in case you require further attention. Trauma Team has gotten attention as of late for their no nonsense approach and their high priorities when it comes to securing a client's life.

We have just been informed that the Sol System may be seen a lot more of the Trauma Team as a representative of the Five Clans spoke to Trauma Team's director, Franklin Belfort, about a contract for Trauma Team to work on Mars, and after a few days of negotiations, the contract and a few conditions from the Five Clans were both approved by both sides.

We all at Trauma Team are excited to offer field medical coverage and first response attention to our new clients. And after several meetings to determine when we will be able to work there, we've decided to start moving assets this week and operate on Mars as soon as this next Monday. Mars is known for its state of conflict, and their distrust of corporations, but hopefully with our premium services and our new Platinum Card package, we will be able to change the minds of Martians. Trauma Team is not here to take over, Trauma Team is here to help you.

These were the words of Franklin Belfort, officially announcing the new contract to shareholders at Genetectic, and his staff at the Trauma Team. Belfort was seen as enthusiastic about the prospect of furthering the operations of Trauma Team. And even with conditions set by the Five Clans, it is said that the mood around Genetectic is festive.

The conditions for Trauma Team's operation are as follow:

  • Trauma Team does not install a new facility on Mars, rather they will coordinate with the facilities already existing there. In Trauma Team's words: They are not competing with Martian Services, they are working with them.
  • Trauma Team does not transport any clients off Mars, all attention to Martians remains on the planet, this is mostly due to biological and physiological issues inherent to Martian biology.
  • Phobos and Deimos are considered highly restricted moons for any and all corporations, so Trauma Team will not be operating there.
  • Trauma Team is taxed 30% of their monthly earnings, and grants the Five Clans access to their books for verification.

Trauma Team is expected to operate on Mars starting Monday, December 7th, but if they move their needed assets sooner, they may operate on the red planet earlier than that.

In other news, you may recall that the Ito Industries CEO, Ito Takeda Hanzo, died last month in what was an extremely violent fashion. Since then, Matsumoto-Zaibatsu has taken over the investigation and their interest is focused on finding Ito's children who may still be alive. For the past month, there has been silence concerning this case, but this morning Matsumoto-Zaibatsu has released a video and still shots of a mysterious figure surrounding the Ito Takeda Hanzo case. Still unidentified, the figure seems to be a woman, heavily augmented and extremely skilled. Matsumoto-Zaibatsu has also revealed they are inquiring about the whereabouts of two individuals of the Ito family, Takeda Haruki Ito and Ito Takeda Ikira. Those close to the family have noted that both Haruki and Ikira were last seen nearly one year ago, and possibly have traveled through Cocoon Station. Matsumoto-Zaibatsu asks the general public for help, If you have any information as to the whereabouts of these two siblings, please contact Matsumoto-Zaibatsu at any of their locations across the Sol System or their main headquarters on Neo Edo. A handsome reward is to be paid for information or location of where they now reside.

What are your thoughts on these developments? Do you think Trauma Team operating on Mars can mark the beginning of cordial relationships between the Five Clans and corporations as a whole? Will there be sabotage from the Martian Natives, considering that some unconfirmed rumors seem to point at that being the case with Genetectic? And what about the Ito case? Do you think Matsumoto-Zaibatsu will be able to find the Ito Children? Please share your opinions in the comment section below.
