Researchers following the solar event we reported on last week have issued a public warning that the solar flare event we are undergoing is going to be far more than they had originally anticipated.
"We have not seen an event of this magnitude in decades.." says researcher Colin Hayward. "This is a massive, massive event that is going to see magnetic energy surge through the solar system, perhaps extending as far as Mars. And the results are that it will most likely affect communications, if not the power infrastructure altogether. " he warned.
"It is going to be quite an event once it reaches it's full magnitude." Hayward added, "And should produce an effect like the Aurora Borealis, where charged particles from the sun colliding with gases in Earth's upper atmosphere, particularly near the magnetic poles. It's important, however, that anyone observing the sun directly during this event shield their eyes or optics, as harm may result. "
ONN domain outages have been reported by multiple users in every sky city, station and colony. We have confirmed these reports. ONN would like to reassure our users that we are working around the clock to identify the source of the outage. Additionally, domain connections for several corporations have been reported to be offline, seriously impacting their services. We expect these domains to be re-connected over the next 2-3 days, but more protracted outages are within the realm of possibility.
