ONN News Desk, Saeko Mori reporting.
A stunning development on Luna occurred today, as the Revenant Casino appears to have gone out of business. Local citizens report seeing heavy lifters dropping containers into the open space made after the front wall of the Casino was disassembled and moved to allow workmen to crate up the gambling equipment for reasons unknown.
"I bet they went bankrupt" Said one concerned onlooker, his credstick in hand, to no use. "Just like MGM did. nobody can keep that place open for long."
Revenant management could not be reached for comment, but the Governor's office was quick to quash the rumors which had already started to circulate among the Lunite citizenry:
"The office of the Governor was not apprised of any renovations that were to take place, and a quick check showed no construction licenses had been issued. Whatever is going on has not gone through proper channels, and may result in fines levied against the Revenant Group and it's holdings." A spokesman was quick to go on record.
The spokesman was quick to add, "The Governor's office is aware that some paperwork often falls through the cracks. We will take every step necessary to ensure that the Revenant is back up and running again as soon as possible and continuing to provide Lunites with the entertainment and leisure time activities it is legendary for."
This news desk was informed that while the Revenant Casino and Lounge was closed for the duration of this renovation, service to the Hotel will be uninterrupted.
