ONN Science Desk/Glenn Morris Reporting

Good morning, ONN viewers. I'm Glenn Morris, a science journalist working with ONN and Mega LA's Institute of Technology.
Following up on yesterday evening's advisory issued by the Institute, citizens in the Cocoon and Mnemosyne Station Sectors can expect meteorite showers today starting roughly noon SLT (Station Local Time) and lasting for about 45 minutes to one hour.
These meteorite showers are unlikely to cause as much direct damage via impact as the Luna Colony incident, but we caution citizens to remain indoors and away from windows for the duration of the event. To avoid fires, please keep your personal electronics off during this time. Be wary that damage to station structures may result in falling debris and property damage.
Please refer to the guidance of your local corporate security and healthcare providers in the instance you need direction or aid.
