ONN: Man Critically Injured in Assault Outside of Bunkr Nightclub

Violence erupted outside Bunkr, the popular 3rd District nightspot, Friday evening as a clubgoer was brutally assaulted by a woman in a black armored skinsuit. The victim, Tyran Milenkov, was admitted to the clinic in Sector 4 with severe lacerations inflicted by a heat blade and is currently in serious but stable condition, sources told ONN.

According to eyewitnesses, the unidentified assailant approached Milenkov and the two briefly exchanged words. Milenkov then drew an assault weapon. The woman responded by throwing several smoke bombs, obscuring the two from sight, and sounds of gunfire were briefly heard from within the smoke cloud. When the smoke had cleared, Milenkov was lying on the sidewalk, badly injured, and his attacker was nowhere to be found.

The specifics of the altercation are currently unknown. Some speculate that the armored attacker may be linked in some way to the mysterious "Python" and the recent spate of anti-Security propaganda appearing around the station. Others believe this is a random act of violence similar to the one that claimed the life of Dimitri Pawlow at the very same spot earlier this year.

When approached for comment, a representative from AICHI Intersolar stated that Milenkov's attacker is currently wanted for questioning, and Security forces are pursuing the matter aggressively. Cocoon occupants with information that could aid in locating the attacker are advised to contact their local Security garrison immediately.
