Hello and welcome, it’s a beautiful July 10th day here at The Apollo. I am Robinson Armstrong XVII and I am here to bring you the 6 o'clock news.
Our top story this evening is an update on the "Luna Leviathan”, which has been terrorizing Luna’s waterways.
As many of you know the rival company of AM, Hexa-Eco accidentally released one of their very own genetic experiments, which found its way into the of the central water canals within our dear Luna. The governor of Luna, Anton Bancroft, as well as the Matsumoto Corp asked AM to bring an end to the murderous creature, after multiple reports as well as sightings have concluded the creature was territorially hostile. AM undertook the operation, finding that the 'Luna leviathan” while out of captivity had given birth to two smaller sharks.
Using meat as bait, AM humanely attracted the creatures and disposed of them without incident. We are going to be showing the team of AM agents to whom bravely fought these wild beasts in action. The killing blow was delivered to the by none other than Paladin Brooke. Our very own Mae C. Jemison was able to get two exclusive interviews with none other than the Paladin Brooke and a leading Biotech researcher, Miss Lane Langley. Let’s hear a snippet from their interviews now.
| Paladin Brooke: “Well I was at my apartment taking a rest after having flown back from Earth, Boss Lady Prime sent out the call it was time to go fishing. I suited up and was ready. I met others at the Luna waters and we waited. When the first couple of sharks came it was obvious, they were babies. This was unexpected and we managed to dispatch them though some were injured. We then waited and did things like echoing sound in the water to lure the beast up. Then we saw a mama shark, huge. I never saw anything like it. I was firing at it but it's skin was thick and the water around it seemed to act as a buffer for firearms. I saw William get bit and thrashed and he went down. Prime lost her leg. It was at this point I drew my chain sword and leapt into the water. Drawing the beast on to myself while cutting its underbelly. It seemed to take forever though it was a short fight. It roared and then began to float belly up. dead. We retrieved Primes leg and dragged the carcass back to HQ for study. It was odd to fight such a creature. They don't really have a conscience other than to kill and eat you.”
Leading Biotech Researcher Lane Langley: “My role was to secure samples of the chimera. As you know, we were told that this chimera, which was the property of Hexa-Eco, had escaped and the governor of Luna commissioned AEGIS to track down and kill it. And that's exactly what we did, but there was a twist that no-one could see coming. Luckily, AM's security team was well-prepared and strong, so we managed to take them all down. As for securing samples, those of us not directly involved in combat are well-skilled in self-defense of course, as am I. AM ensures that all of its employees know how to protect themselves and each other if necessary. So, with such an excellent security team doing the actual combat work, and my own training, I was never in any danger. I have to mention that all of this is due to the prowess of AM's leader, Cascade Prime. We took back the entire carcass of the chimera - the mother, now known as Leviathan - to the AM lab here, and we've since examined and analyzed it thoroughly, but I cannot give any information on our findings.” |
Hexa-eco CEO Zack dollars nor his representatives have made no attempt at publishing any comments and an official investigation into Hexa-eco's facilities is now underway.
