As we reported a few hours ago, there was a massive concentration of tens of thousands, perhaps even hundreds of thousands in the vicinity of Olympus Mons, as a massive communications blackout took place, we remained without information for a long time, especially since ARES determined that Olympus Mons was to be a no flight zone. However, we now have incredible news to share with you all: After hundreds of years of Uprisings, and an incredibly bold Declaration of Independence, the efforts of the Martian Native Tribe Clans, also referred to as the Five Clans, have paid off.
You heard correctly dear viewers, listeners, and readers: Advanced Research and Experimental Systems has called off the planetary blockade on Mars, has deactivated their synth units, and have called off their cyborgs and replicants, calling for negotiations between the board of directors and the representatives of the Five Clans.
As another bombshell, we now finally have confirmation of the identity of the elusive Chief Executive Officer to Advanced Research and Experimental Systems: Adam Caine. You may recall his name as a legendary soldier and mercenary who has been operating all over the Sol System for decades, it turns out he had been hiding in plain sight operating as a contracted operator to ARES. He was also present at the Battle of Olympus Mons and is now counted among the casualties, news of his death could have caused the board of directors to call for a cease fire and negotiations.
While it's unclear what conditions would be agreed upon by ARES, we know that these negotiations will finish overnight, for the time being, ARES has agreed to an immediate planetary cease fire and the withdrawal of their forces, for all effects and purposes the Martian Wars are over.
