Greetings Citizens of Sol. My name is Kelly Glycerin, and this is the ONN.
after a bit of silence from the ground teams on Earth. Aegis Macrogenetics was finally able to send out a message on their progress on recon assignments and soil studies, together with a worrying message. a researcher had this to say
"we were able to do some light scouting work and get just a few soil samples. but then they came out of nowhere. bots made out of scrap and other bot's parts. we know they were gathering and what almost looked like cleaning the Earth sites we have been located at as well as clearing out. but then a massive wave way to organized to be wild bots came and charged our site. a co-worker of mine said that the corpses of the bots all have one thing in common. a Red Equine skull seems to be printed on their chassis. most of them even had explosives inside of them that detonated on the bots destruction. thankfully due to ARES their equipment we have no casualties. but too many are wounded from the several days onslaught. we are experiencing quite the delay because of this unforeseen event"
Aegis Macrogenetics CEO Kazuhira Ishii had this to say in a public speech
"I want to publicly thank my employees, for protecting not only the research and surveying that we have accomplished. But also for risking their lives to protect their fellow co-workers. those that have gotten seriously injured will get medical comp and will get the time they need to recover. This does mean we will take a blow in our long journey to recover Earth to what it once was."
You heard it here. a devastating blow to the progress of Aegis Macrogenetics. word is that some people are looking into this bot attack. all we can do is hope that the mastermind behind this is found and fast.
