The whiplash-inducing changes in the Sol System are far from over. And this time around, Aegis Macrogenetics is the topic of conversation once again.

In case you are not fully up to date, Aegis Macrogenetics was once an influential corporation with a few exclusive contracts on Mars when ARES was still in possession of the planet. Through a series of disasters at the management level, the corporation suffered massive losses that ranged in the billions of credits, as well as the loss of the public's trust, which would force them to retreat to The Belt and survive on colony maintenance contracts.

Fast forward to the new era in the Sol System and Aegis Macrogenetics is back at the forefront, this time with a unique contract: to save the world.

Aegis Macrogenetics CEO, Kazuhira Ishii, had a brief statement earlier today.

“I wish to thank the leadership of Section One for their trust in me and my corporation, I know we have a lot of work to do to recover the people’s trust, and I hope that our best efforts at bringing new life to Earth will be a good start to make it happen. Today, Aegis Macrogenetics has given the first step in making our former home, Earth, a more hospitable and welcoming world”.

As a result, the stocks of Aegis Macrogenetics had a moderate rise, while the ARES, Armitech, Matsumoto, and NSI stocks rose even further. We reported previously that Aegis Macrogenetics had landed on Earth and had started the preliminary recon assignments and soil studies. While the dream of a blue and green planet Earth may still be a long time away, the first steps of this titanic endeavor have been given.
