Here now follows a public statement made by Cascade Prime, director of Aegis Macrogenetics.

"Good evening citizens and displaced peoples across the inner system. The Martian wars rage on with no signs of slowing, causing chaos, misery and hardship for many millions of innocent people who had no stake in this conflict one way or the other. As a corporate entity, Aegis' goal has been to improve the quality of life for all with our ground breaking research into multiple fields of bioscience. And so with so many hungry and in pain we can not ignore our obligations under the current harsh circumstances. This is why I am pleased to announce that after extensive talks with Luna governor Bancroft, Aegis has reached an agreement with the Luna government. We join our colleges in the illustrious MGM to secure resources not just for ourselves, but in hopes of developing our technologies in assisting those displaced by the conflict. Here and now Aegis commits to the development of as many food crops as possible to replace the now inaccessible Martian farms, the creation of new life saving medications to help the sick and injured and whatever support we can offer to all interested agencies in housing the refugees. Aegis remains open to any and all who wish to lessen the suffering being felt by so many during this chaotic time and is prepared to do whatever is necessary to that end. And as we strive to this end I would urge all parties involved in the conflict to please consider the implications of your actions. War is good for no one, corporate entity or tribal society. It is a bloody business that only resolves when those fighting do what they were always going to have to do from the very beginning, sit down around a table and talk."
