ONN: ARES Detects Corporations in Cahoots with the Natives

It's been four days since the Gaius Space Station Incident, and Advanced Research and Experimental Systems doesn't seem to be slowing down. As the Martian War continues to rage on the red planet, ARES, often referred as one of the Big Three on account of their dominating military and fire power is far from slowing down, in fact, it appears to be picking momentum.

Earlier this afternoon, Cassandra Areia revealed the names of five corporations that were in cahoots with the Martian Native Tribe Clans and their Independence efforts. The names of these corporations, in no particular order, are:

  • AntiGen Incorporated
  • Skellag Heavy Industries
  • Kawahara Entertainment
  • Ichikawa Cyberworks
  • BioReign Corporation

According to reports offered by Cassandra Areia, these five corporations were in talks with the Mars Native Tribe Clans to lend support in any way they can, in exchange for consideration for these corporations to operate on Mars despite the regulations that the Mars Council would impose on any corporation working on the planet, or the moons. The report states that these corporations had already sent supplies, weapons, and materials to help the War effort.

Once the information was verified with evidence, the board of directors to each and every corporation were hunted down, formally detained, and summarily executed. As of this report, New Geneva is proceeding with the asset seizing of each corporation, with half going to New Geneva, and the other half going to Advanced Research and Experimental Systems. Cassandra Areia offered a few comments on the situation.

“Today, and after several days of tireless investigation, we were able to determine the first five corporations that can not be considered anything more than separatists and traitors to New Geneva. The Boards of Directors were located, detained, and executed. All of the resources that these men and women could have enjoyed will now help bolster our righteous advances against those who would look to destabilize Mars and throw it into unprecedented chaos.

Our efforts didn't go all smoothly, despite our best efforts, an unknown factor in our investigation and operations prevented us finding more names, but rest assured, this is simply a temporary hurdle.

To any corporation out there thinking they may have a chance to have better business with Mars if these rebels win: Don't, the Natives have made it clear that they are after money and that they will remove all corporations from the planet, what makes you think you'll be treated any differently?

And to all corporations who may already be in bed with the Natives, you have already made your decision, and every decision carries consequences, it's a matter of time before we find you, you can run, you can hide, but there is no escape from ARES.”

This marks ARES's second operation counting the Gaius Space Station Incident, and the strategy is clear: Cut off every supply line to Mars.

At this moment, the many delegations of ARES continue to visit different Space Stations, Colonies, and Floating Cities to ensure collaboration and compliance from all major players in the Corporate Society.
