War has an interesting way to shape things, both winners and losers will be remembered for their part in a series of conflicts that may or may have not involved other organisms. Wars are waged for political, economical, and sometimes, even geographical interests. You may remember back in April a conflict was brewing, with everyone throwing their two cents and theories around. All we knew for sure was that big Military megacorporations were involved, and that information was extremely classified, and most of it still is to this day. Several lives were lost, millions of credits in damages started to emerge, and it threw Mars into yet another wave of unrest.

Three days later, we would learn about the now famous "Scorpion Affair" and more details would start to emerge, allowing both Mars Citizens and Residents around the System to understand what had happened. The stakes were higher, and some faces were now familiar, as well as names. Scorpion, the Council of Free Martians, Advanced Research and Exploration Systems, and perhaps, the most famous and one that has inspired poems, stories, and songs: Gusev Colony. Several lives were lost, several others cried out for answers and truth, and a responsible was identified: Scorpion.

Scorpion, for those of you who are unaware, was a mid size megacorporation that specializes in military operations and urban pacification, they were known for offering affordable security packages and they were one of the most popular megacorporations in development amidst the Corporate World. According to records, Scorpion went out for themselves during an assignment for ARES and went grossly out of stipulations and contractual terms, as they were branded criminals and Corporate Justice Arrest Warrants were issued for their capture, they took advantage of the ongoing riots on Mars, specifically the Red Sand Riot, to escape, cover their own tracks, jettison most of their assets, and escape the red planet.

Back in May, we learned of an official move from ARES, known and, depending who you ask, legendary mercenary, Adam Caine, was hired and tasked to form a special team that would operate all over the System, a team that would be dubbed "The Scorpion Retrieval Team", at the time in our exclusive interview, Adam Caine vowed victory in re-apprehending the escaped terrorists, and also stated his team would be working closely with local Corporate Law Enforcement Agencies to ensure better results.

Today, we have learned that Advanced Research and Experimental Systems has officially claimed victory in their efforts.

In a very brief statement, Adam Caine, Commander of the Scorpion Retrieval Team, said:

"Scorpion took advantage of the confidence and contractual terms from ARES, and they going out of their way only for themselves resulted in a conflict that tipped the balance for Mars Citizens and changed the face of our home planet forever. ARES has acted according to Corporate Law, backed by the New Geneva Corporate Council, and their ruling. The seizure of Scorpion assets as well as a System wide effort to work with different space stations, settlements, colonies, and floating cities to bring these terrorists to Corporate Justice. Today, my team apprehended the last terrorist and Advanced Research and Experimental Systems can finally bring back the peace of mind to the millions of devastated Mars Citizens. I've been authorized to divulge that, for the next six months, ARES will distribute relief packages and economic support to the families of those who lost their lives in the Gusev Colony Incident, thank you."

In our very own Station, Arboria Tactical Systems was, for the longest time, rumored to have also taken part in such an operation. However, it was mostly speculation as there was no official source citing ATS's involvement. In a short statement of his own, Jean Hyde, Arboria

Corporation Representative and ATS Director had this to say:

"Both Arboria Tactical Systems, and the Arboria Corporation, take Corporate Law very seriously. The well being and safety of Corporate Citizens and Residents always come first to us. When Mr. Caine approached us asking us for our assistance on the local level of Cocoon Station, we couldn't refuse. For weeks, and due the limited information available on the terrorists, we ran surveillance operations to attempt and identify potential Scorpion members. Today, we're happy to say that we have contributed to a bigger cause, and that we have helped bring peace back to the minds of so many people."

This last statement comes from a series of victories from Arboria Tactical Systems as well, with a hostage crisis that was expertly handled, to the arrest of the suspect behind that crisis. It is said that Arboria Corporation's stock has increasingly risen over the past month, and it may surpass historic maximums. With these actions, the final chapter over Scorpion is officially concluded.

ONN also thanks its viewers and readers for your anonymous calls and tips that were forwarded to ATS, and congratulates you for doing your part in stopping a growing and rampant terrorist threat.
