There's a catchy little intro, the logo, the canned applause that indicates there's a live holo-audience. Alice is a pleasant sounding woman with a smooth genial voice that doesn't seem to have a particular accent. She smiles a lot, and despite the very obvious augmentations, moves and talks very naturally. Throughout the show, and each topic, there's a very non-judgmental quality to her that tends to reinforce the image of an impartial, but compassionate scientist.

Alice talks about bad health information, and why you shouldn't buy your medication from your local bodega. She talks with a Bodega employee, and asks him pointed questions about the over the counter medications available, and how they interact with different augments and other chemicals. She's not at all mean about it, and makes it clear to him that he's not the one responsible for his not knowing these things, nor is it his job to.

It's more the consumer's job to know where their ability to self-treat ends, and at what point they need to reach out to a real doctor, and not Manpower XXL Endurance Stims, which she explains have comically toxic cocktails that would never be approved by a reputable lab to force over-circulation to the extremities. So yeah.. your dick looks bigger. So do your feet and hands. And then she shows gory images of discolored hands and feet, long term edema, and clotting disorders that eventually lead to amputation and the need for prosthetics for all of those extremities. ALL of them.

She does get into recreational drug use and points out that you should talk to your doctor before you decide to add in a chemical you get from a place that's not set up to test, and certify its products for safety. You shouldn't be relying on a 17-year old stoner kid to tell you if the WakeyBrakey will counteract the SooperDoze you took the night before to get to sleep. Instead, Tell your doctor you are having a hard time sleeping, and we'll likely come up with a much better solution that does not make your mouth itch like WakeyBrakey does.

[COMMERCIAL BREAK]

Speaking of less than reputable healthcare, Alice talks about why Ripper Docs are also a good thing to avoid; how they've contributed to the increase in harvester gangs on Cocoon Station, and, of course, she shows some horrifying images and video of ripper situations gone wrong. Poorly cleaned second-hand augments causing rampaging infections and tissue death that requires more expensive augmentations, malfunctioning Augments that cause additional injury.

Alice explains that while a ripper doc may be talented, their methods are extremely suspect and dangerous to their patients because their supply chains are corrupt. Ripper Docs have to cut corners to come far enough under what a white coat doctor charges to make their services accessible to people without the financial means to afford a proper doctor, augment gear and procedure. But we're not pointing out a problem without suggesting a solution. Alice explains again that SNS offers augmentation coverage and healthcare packages to the general public at reasonable rates.

[COMMERCIAL BREAK]

Speaking of Symphatik Nano Systems, Alice announces that they're a sponsor of the show now. And she explains that she is excited about the relationship because SNS seems to be making real strides in becoming a customer-forward augment development company instead of its past of secretive behind the scenes developments.

The new CEO seems more interested in developing a prominent mainstream augmentation brand and rising above rumors around its ethics and research that usually follow any bleeding edge development company. Alice points out that there are some great projects in the works, and that she's excited to be in a position to get access to them, and keep people informed of their progress and process. SNS, she points out, is also actively hiring in a broad variety of positions, and interested potential employees should reach out and apply. The salary and benefits are second to none, and they have inside the belt facilities on Cocoon Station and in the Luna Colony as well.
