Earlier this month, a dig site on Mars was harassed and interrupted by some of the desert lowlifes who inhabit Mars. Thousands of Solcreds worth of equipment was either destroyed or stolen. The financier of the dig, Harrison Kane, of New Geneva, was reached for comment and he had this to say:
"The filth that infest the surface of Mars need to be dealt with. What I had was a legitimate excavation on an area of Mars that is considered neutral territory, and an agreement was made with the Blackfinger Clan to insure that we had a legal and binding agreement to begin excavations in that area."
Mr. Kane also had this to say additionally, when asked what his expedition hoped to achieve.
"I won't say just yet, as reports are still coming in and the people I have on Mars are still gathering intelligence on something that was unearthed last year. And no, I won't elaborate. But I will say this. We did find something else, something big. The team managed to send off a message just before most of them were brutally murdered by the criminals who insist that Mars belongs to them."
When asked to elaborate, This is what Mr. Kane replied with.
"I am keeping this close to my chest until I can corroborate additional information. Until then I am afraid I can and will not elaborate further. But be assured, when I do hold a press release, it will change everything.."
Harrison Kane is an investor and philanthropist who resides on New Geneva. He is well known as a collector of antiquities and oddities that predate the Transcendence wars. He is well known among the wealthier circles of New Geneva and is a real-estate magnate.
More information will be forthcoming as we receive it.
