Orbital News Network/Revenant Press Release

[ Broadcast]
[Camera fades in to Azshara Rodriguez standing at a podium, a solemn expression on her face. The Revenant Group logo is displayed behind her.]

Azshara Rodriguez: "Hello, my fellow friends, both far and near. I am Azshara Rodriguez, Press Secretary of The Revenant Group. I am here to make a statement on the abduction of our very dear executive, Frankie Hughes."

[The camera zooms in on Azshara as she takes a deep breath before continuing.]

Azshara Rodriguez: "On March 2, 2494, Mr. Hughes was walking to the taxi after having some lunch at Ray's Pizza in Chinatown, Cocoon. Shockingly, he was approached by three ArcSec officers and taken against his will. A nearby citizen attempted to defend Mr. Hughes but had to flee in fear for their life."

[The screen displays images of the busy street outside Ray's Pizza on the day of the incident.]

Azshara Rodriguez: "We immediately contacted ArcSec and spoke to a Mr. Ernest Parsely. Mr. Hughes has been taken on a whim as a suspect for the bombing of Bunkr. and of Heaven Inc. This is alarming, considering ArcSec has no proof and seems to be grasping at straws for information. Mr. Hughes was denied any legal counsel by our team, and we have not been able to see or talk to him since he was abducted."

[A montage of images showing Mr. Hughes at work and with colleagues is displayed on the screen.]

Azshara Rodriguez: "Mr. Hughes was a victim in the Bunkr bombing, and there is no evidence to the contrary. ArcSec initially assured us at Revenant that the bombing was the work of an escaped Armitech prisoner who fled during the Armitech building collapse. However, recent incidents raise questions about ArcSec's accuracy and competence. Is this a new Armitech incident brewing? Will more people be taken on a whim, simply to maintain the appearance of doing their job?"

[A split-screen shows a prievious quote from ArcSec on ONN a quote from Mr Parsley " “We have spoken to Armitech to find documents. With the footage provided to us by the Revenant Group, in wholesome and efficient cooperation, we find that the individual that committed this heinous crime, was in Armitech custody at some point. With the other incidents it is not far from logic that we can not be without the 0.3% of a failure rate. We stand with Cocoon and we will continue to provide what we can to the station."]

Azshara Rodriguez: "While we do not point fingers at Cocoon Corp, we must question the validity of ArcSec's consideration for a contract with Cocoon Corp. We, at Revenant, have employees who are denizens of Cocoon, and we want them to feel safe. Are the citizens of Cocoon safe? Has ArcSec taken an innocent man to hasten their chance of a contract? We have tried, at Revenant, to solve this matter peacefully and respectfully. We hope for a swift resolution."

[The camera zooms out as Azshara nods, thanking the audience.]

Azshara Rodriguez: "Thank you all for your time."

[The screen fades to black as the broadcast concludes.]
