ONN News desk, Saeko Mori reporting.

In a shocking turn of events, Matteo Ferrera, son of the business magnate and founder of Ferrera motors, Giovanni Ferrera, was found dead last night at Eden Pool Club, a victim of apparent drowning. Reports that Ferrera owed a great deal of money to person or persons unknown could not be substantiated. His body was removed by what we assume was a family member, an unidentified man with ginger hair. Closed circuit camera arrays are being investigated to see if they hold any clues to the death of Ferrera.

Toxicology tests are pending, but it is speculated that Ferrera was under the influence at the time of death.

In a press release to ONN , the elder Ferrera was quoted as saying:

"Look what they did to my boy. I can't believe this was an accident. There is a long history of my company and my family being beset by jealous individuals determined to ruin us. I am going to find out who did this to my boy and there will be enormous consequences, I can assure you of that..."

Ferrera motors recently made news after moving the headquarters off Luna to New Geneva. Having had a recent history of obstacles, Ferrera recently had hoped to recoup losses incurred when the destruction of the Jericho V disaster destroyed the majority of Ferrara's inventory. Attempts at rebuilding working capital had proven unsuccessful for the former leader in automotive excellence.

The Ferrera family has asked for privacy during this time of loss and no further statements were forthcoming. The investigation continues and we will be giving you details as they arise.

And in a related note, the manager of Eden Pool Club has assured us that the pool has already been cleaned and sanitized.
