Ru Margot's Gossip Corner
[The screen turns white. a pair of black lips kissing into existence before it slowly fades to the studio with Ru in her usual fashion the top half of her face hidden]
Ru: "hello there my lovely birdies. it has been a while now has it not? well, do not worry anymore. Momma has some new rumors and man, are these scary ones."
[the lights shift to the many colors of Cocoon. a soft music now playing in the background]
Ru: "You guys had a lovely time during that rave till Armitech came in like a sore party pooper? Love the Anarchy and the middle finger towards Armitechs ridiculous travel ban and their horrible Mutant genocide?
Well now I will tell you something a little birdy told your lovely friend Ru, and I sure hope this one is a false rumor."
Ru: "now I understand the whole feeling of anger towards the Corporation, I am livid towards them too.
However, Armitech might be looking for a stronger foothold on several stations: including Nieuw Amsterdam, Nouveau Paris, Cocoon Station and many more.
Claiming the rave to be a prime example why they should be appointed security and be doubling down. Again this is a rumor people. But your Mutant host Ru really hopes its a false one."
[the lights in the studio turn a Neon red as Ru Morgot smirks.]
Ru: "now then dear Birdies. a well know substance provider from the Hades Colony has been spotted in Mega LA.
Mr. Redeyez walking around with a Purpose and seemingly asking and looking for that infamous drug Nitro.
Some of you Birdies from the massive Sky City have told me that his presence is making the local Gangs Really uneasy."
Ru: "sure the gangs in Mega LA have been butting heads, but this time it seems personal. Corpses found in the New Compton Megatower were said to be drug pushers. and the little birdies said to Ru that the drugs in their possession? were fake imitations of Martian drugs. you want to know what that smells like to Momma bird? Gang war on its way. but who knows if its the truth its up to you if you believe this one or not"
[the lights suddenly dim to a yellow.]
Ru: "now this one is from one of Jupiter's Facilities There seems to..."
Camera man 1: [in a panicked voice] "Ru we need to leave."
Ru: "What? Why we were just..."
Camera man 1: "a group of people just broke into the building. they seem to be armed we need to leave now"
Ru: "shit lets go everyone emergency exit. NOW!"
[several footsteps could be heard before the studio was completely silent. then the screen flashes white with an awful beep for just a split second and several people bearing the Armitech logo on their apparel appear on camera]
??? 1: "she left. I TOLD YOU WE SHOULD HAVE LEFT SOME PEOPLE OUTSIDE BUT NO YOU JUST HAD TO BRING EVERYONE IN BECAUSE MUTANTS COULD BE UN PERDICTABLE"
??? 2: "look this might have scared her off enough and she will stop with these stupid Rumors. you heard the boss we should..."
??? 1: "QUIET. the cameras are still on. cut the fucking feed man"
[several shots could be heard and the screen goes fully black.]
