ONN Science Desk/Richard Hart Reporting

The orbital defense platform reports that sustained hits from the railgun arrays have broken the asteroid up into smaller pieces.

While this is certainly good news we may still see some damage from the debris that was formerly the asteroid, but nothing near an extinction level event that that asteroid posed.

Please continue to remain indoors and remain sheltered underground if such facilities are available to you. The Civil Defense Authorities will sound an all-clear at such time as it is safe for you to leave your shelter.

ONN Science Desk, Richard Hart reporting.
