Important communication to all residents and visitors: A freighter crew having recently visited our orbital platform has been detected carrying a lethal mutation of the RNA influenza virus coming from the outer colonies on Mars.
The crew has been isolated and there is no risk of further contamination, but all residents and visitors are strongly requested to drop by the clinic in District 2 to be vaccinated. Please contact the clinic staff, Dr. Ophelia Faith or the clinic medical droid, T.E.R.A for an appointment, free of charge. Cocoon Corporation will cover all related costs.
If you experience the following symptoms, you might have been infected with this or other variant of the virus:
- Fever and extreme coldness (chills shivering, shaking [rigor])
- Cough
- Nasal congestion
- Vomiting
- Runny nose
- Sneezing
- Body aches, especially joints and throat
- Fatigue
- Headache
- Irritated, watering eyes
- Reddened eyes, skin (especially face,) mouth, throat and nose
- Petechial rash
