Cocoon Station localNET/Public Health Advisory Broadcast
Cocoon is currently experiencing an outbreak of a virulent retrovirus. Those contracting this virus exhibit symptoms similar to radiation poisoning. Reported effects include nausea, loss of appetite, chronic fatigue, susceptibility to bruising, and hemorrhaging. A chronic cough has accompanied the majority of reported cases. This virus is potentially fatal if left untreated.
Residents and transient visitors exhibiting any of these symptoms should report to the nearest medical facility for testing immediately. Those without artificially boosted immune systems are advised to wear rebreather masks or other protective gear when in public to reduce the risk of exposure.
