RESIDENTS AND VISITORS TO COCOON:
We regret to inform you that Cocoon Corporation has opted not to renew its security services contract with AICHI Intersolar. The decision to eschew stationwide security coverage was a financial austerity measure, one of several proposed budget cuts intended to aid in the station's economic recovery in the wake of the current financial crisis.
Effective immediately, the proprietors of all public venues and other places of business at Cocoon will be responsible for providing their own security protection. Station occupants and visitors are strongly advised to arm themselves before venturing outside of corporate-controlled areas. Cocoon Corporation will not be held liable for any injuries or fatalities received by individuals while on the station.
