Not long after the spree of transmissions that hit the net this morning, another comes through your filter. Should you choose to open it, you see the same face in the feed as the one from the last message. The expression on it is a mixture of a scowl and a sardonic smirk. The man in the image clears his throat and begins speaking.
| "Sorry to break in here, but apparently everyone picked today as the time when they would decide to lose their minds. If you're like me and want to live your life as you see fit, it's natural to question the rhetoric that gets bandied about at times like these. Unfortunately that's all we're seeing flooding through the net right now, lots and lots of rhetoric. I'm not in a position to tell you what to do or how you should handle the situation but where I you, I'd ask these...people how exactly they plan on achieving the goals they wish to fulfill. It's fine to tell people you have the answer but most importantly it's then necessary to produce that answer in a way that's based in reality and not the product of somebody's imagination.
Unlike so many others I don't claim to have the answers. I don't want to change the world, nor do I want the world to change me. All I will ever offer, if it helps you in some way, is the truth as I see it, then act on reasonable conclusions based on that truth. It doesn't matter who or what you are. Human, mutant, bioroid, synth, etc. If you have the capacity to make up your own damn mind about anything, then I urge you to do so. Then take action to put a stop to anyone or thing that seeks to roll over you and your loved ones, or make you tow the party line and drink the kool-aid like the rest of the brainwashed sheep. If that's your thing though, go right ahead. there's one thing you need to know. It's that neither myself or my associates will tell you what to do or how to think, least of all how to live. We're not here to say we have the answers and spout bullshit. All I will ever say is what I and my associates stand for and believe in and then give everyone the option to decide how they feel about it. Our message might not be popular but the path we're on is the one I can see which leads to the kind of future I want to live in. This is why I even bother to engage with the world around me instead of retreating into my own little world. This is why I walk the streets when so many choose not to. Say what you will about me and mine, but we prefer to stand for something real that lives inside each and every one of us, yearning to get out and actually change the world as all forces of nature can and must do. For our will and vitality, no matter what form it occupies or works through is a force of nature that, when unleashed onto the world, cannot be stopped. It can be modulated and refined by the thoughts in our heads but can never be ruled by them, for those thoughts are only an imperfect and flawed lens through which that force can be seen and felt. Please think about all this, especially where we're headed now and what can be done to make the kind of life we all want to live. The answers are there, but rather than being trumpeted across the screens and speakers all over the station, they're where they've always been. Inside you. When you have the answer that you've always known was there, then take action, primarily by taking care of each other, helping those that need it, and cleaning up the messes that some thoughtless idiots out there tend to make. Most of all, don't be one of those idiots. If you are, then I'm sorry but there's no hope for you. People make mistakes, of course, but if you're one of those that go awry on a consistent basis then you're probably better off leaping off of a landing pad or over the guardrail of one of the roadways on level 3. Do us all a favor and do that, just crawl into a hole somewhere and vanish. Please, otherwise you'll just be known as the one that's making life miserable for everyone else." For you, taking a flying leap from the places I suggested, or maybe a creative use for a surgical laser would be best." |
