Recently, scavenging teams have been sent to Earth in order to obtain raw materials to be processed into elements required to keep our station going, from repairs, to expansions, and even complete remodeling jobs, you surely have noticed an increase in buildings and renovations. Cocoon Corp's stock as a result has increased over 30% in the last several months, despite the violence that has reigned in Cocoon, its leading corporation has managed to increase its value and worth, and this is thanks to the several teams that are sent to Earth every day. With every great development, come stories and rumors, scavengers who have been at it since the Asteroid Incident from almost a year ago, have started to see their investments not only return, but to quadruple, many of these individuals have been rumored to become super rich from the scavenging work, and retired to live elsewhere, while others are still confident they can go much further.

Such is the case of Frank Wilbur, a former member and pilot, of the Cocoon Corp Surface Transit Division. Like many on the station, Frank was one of the first to land on Earth and scavenge without really knowing what he was doing. As fate would have it, he would strike gold and would see his investment return almost overnight. Finally getting a bigger freighter for himself, and with a skeleton crew of two more people working with him, Frank started Junkerz 'n' Stuff, LLC. A Cocoon born and raised company that kept striking gold and even made it to the cover of several holo publications system wide. It was the story of the year, a man who could barely live day to day, was now the boss of his own company, doing what he loved and getting extremely rewarded by it.

"It was a dream come true" says Wilbur "My old man always said that if you found a passion and you were good at it, you'd never work a day in your life!"

The company has also expanded significantly and has enjoyed a meteoric rise unlike most stories of success you may have heard before.

Tonight, once again, Junkerz 'n' Stuff, LLC is back on the headlines, but for very different reasons, as the Cocoon Communications Division has lost contact with a vital scavenging mission on the surface, at Camp Delta-199. Details are blurry, but imaging has been blocked out by a large dust storm in that area. Distress Signal received July 10th, 2488 at 7pm. The ship's homing beacon is still active, and Junkerz 'n' Stuff, LLC is planning a remote pilot return once weather conditions are more clear. Seven workers and one company android is missing and radio contact is down. This is not the first bizarre incident that involves Earth on recent memory, you may remember another incident that destroyed a satellite belonging to ONN, a beam that apparently came from Earth disrupted our services for a few hours before we could replace our satellite with a more secure one. This begs the question, just what is going on the planet we all once thought to be dead and buried?

ONN recommends our would be scavengers to extreme precautions, as Corporate Law does not extend to Earth and as such, you will not be protected by Corporate Law Agencies and Corporations, always verify your insurance policy when you leave, and always go through decontamination showers when you return. And as always, we will report more on this story as it develops.
