Reports this morning are coming in of the death of the actress who played the lead female role Jenny in the cult movie The Staircase. Imogen Turner, 24 was found deceased in her apartment in Nouveau Paris. Cause of death is unknown at this time.

This is just another horrible turn of events that have come to dog the movie about a crazy man hating woman who kills men.

Director Troy Booker and his wife died in a shuttle crash one month ago. This coupled with two stunt men dying on the set and a makeup artist falling to her death. All brings the movie into a small list of films that have been labeled as cursed.

The movie was not taken up by any entertainment companies even though it is slowly growing a large following with fans. There even is a small group of die hard fans who live in the location of the movie, Cocoon Station, who take people on tours. For a small fee you are taken on a two hour tour of all the sets.

In a close call one excited fan nearly fell to her death while taking a selfie on the infamous broken stairs, on Level Zero of the Station.

A spokesperson for Miss Turner said, "Imogen was deeply loved and her fans have been lovely sending flowers and gifts to her family. Imogen loved playing Jenny and at times had a hard time shaking the role off. She did complain about having trouble sleeping. She was a hard worker and even sometimes worried us with ramblings of seeing the ‘Real Jenny’ in Cocoon. We just passed it off as overworking. The family would like to be left in private at this sad time. And would like to thank everyone for their kind messages."
