One day, Sol woke up to find a rapidly growing collective of netrunners spreading their fingers through the digital space, gathering and moving intel, doxxing ner-do-wells and flooding the 'net with free, open-source security software that undermined the dominance of major corporations. People were being given choice. There were alternatives. Some small corner of the veil was lifting.

Rumour has it that there's a cell based in Cocoon, though it's hard to say exactly where. Drug chips and DiDis are surfacing with little double-slash imprints on the casing, a symbol synonymous with the gang. They've publicly claimed they're 'always recruiting', hungry to convert other bright young things to the cause... but getting in can be a journey. Members are strictly anonymous, and all gatherings take place in secretive digital spaces.

An enterprising hacker with a dream could try to catch their attention, either by hunting them directly or making a splash in cyberspace, championing the ideals of the group in their own, dramatic fashion. Chatrooms in the deeper corners of the shadowNet claim that G//0ST has puzzle boxes, little encrypted 'games' like aptitude tests hidden around the grid that can be found and unlocked to put you in direct contact with their leaders.
